Today’s card is The Hermit.

This card is about going within.
I spend a lot of time alone over here in the UK writing songs, thinking, contemplating, learning, figuring myself out. Those that have become closest to me have seen my ups and downs.
When we are in this state of reflection there seems to be more downs than ups, but growth isn’t easy. Growth is recognizing your flaws and honing in on them, understanding why they are there and purging those things that no longer serve you.

There is so much going on in the world right now. Trump, Brexit, Hurricanes, the Amazon burning, Global Warming… it all can get a bit depressing. It seems like every time I post something to enlighten I have become a leftist, or liberal ‘snowflake’. People get very angry with me.

Do I get angry with people online who support hate, or injustice? Actually, no. I feel sad. I feel sad because I know if these people stopped looking outside of themselves and took the journey inward they would see that what they support is a direct reflection of themselves.

Start taking the journey inward and start recognizing that you are a part of this world and that you matter. Listen to your inner voice and allow it to come out.
All of the pain, all of the sorrow, all of the angst… allow it to be released. When you release these from your life you will start seeing yourself in other peoples eyes. You will start to understand that we are all the same. We are truly one.

We all want to be loved. That is the bottom line.

Princess of Swords

Today’s card is the Princess of Swords.

This can be a rebellious card. It’s about creativity and drive. She has an idea in her head and she is going to do it. You can see in the picture that the chain is broken and the rope is untied. All of the thoughts in her mind are now able to manifest into reality.

Today I head into the studio. My normal way of writing songs is to come up with a thought and fire up ProTools, start to sing, and then play around with it a bit. Since I don’t have the luxury of having a studio at my fingertips over here I have been writing songs the old school way… pen to paper and singing the songs in my head. And you know what? It works! The cobwebs have been brushed away and the song in my head comes out exactly as expected.

Today I head back into the studio to bring these thoughts to fruition. I know that they will come out exactly like I want them. I am excited and ready.

They say that Nicola Tesla would come up with an invention in complete detail in his head before he would bring it into the physical. All of his hypothesis, his trails and errors were all worked out. Amazing the power of the mind. But it takes conviction. It takes clarity.
When I do Reiki on people what I am doing is lining up their Chakras, getting them moving as to allow the energy to flow through them. If the energy is blocked your thoughts aren’t clear and it will be very difficult to bring that thought to the physical.

Today, take a look at what you want to come to the physical. Do you have a clear idea in your head or is it scattered? I challenge you to start a meditation practice. Don’t say you don’t have the time. You have 5 minutes here and there throughout your day. Focus on your breath and allow clarity to come through you.

Create and manifest your thoughts into reality. Everything here in the physical was first a thought. Everything.

The Hanged Man

Today’s card is The Hanged Man.

Surrender.

This card signifies ‘be’ing instead of ‘do’ing. I do my best to live like this, but like every human being, we have our panic attacks and think that if we aren’t ‘do’ing something we aren’t progressing.

How many of you out there have ridden a bicycle?

One thing I learned from racing bicycles is that we want the cadence to be high, meaning, that we want our pedals to spin so that we are using more momentum than muscle. But our brains are thinking counter intuitively telling us that if we put it into a bigger gear and power through it, we will go faster. Once I trained my brain to ‘surrender to the cadence’ it effected my racing significantly. But it took practice.

Training ourselves to release and surrender instead of muscling through everything is not a popular theme. Unless, of course, you ask a master teacher like the Dalai Lama, Tony Robbins, Eckhart Tolle, etc. Read some quotes from the Buddha, Jesus, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, or Paul McCartney even… they will all tell you to ‘Let it Be’. 

I’ve talked to you before about the Be/Do/Have concept which for the sake of space I’ll ask you to do further research on your own. Basically what it means is, that if we are ‘be’ing a certain way, raising our vibration, we will start doing things that are in vibration to our ‘be’ing so that inevitably we will have whatever that vibratory state has to offer.

Most of us live in the Have/Do/Be state of mind. In this state we will always struggle and will never have what we are seeking.

Today, before you go ‘do’ something, ask yourself if you are ‘do’ing it because you think you ‘have’ to, or if you ‘want’ to. Start putting yourself into a state of surrender. You will start watching the Universe work with you instead of working against you, fighting to make something happen.

Stop swimming against the flow and start going with the flow.

Today’s card is the Nine of Wands

Strength!

What are your strengths? Do you know them? Have you written them down in detail? You might find that you have strengths you had disregarded because they didn’t seem all that to you, but to others your strengths might have changed their lives.

We all have strengths. Some people are better at one thing while another person is focused somewhere else. All too often we will hyper-focus on our weaknesses which in turn get us more and more depressed.

I mention the Law of Attraction a LOT. Mainly because it is a very simple concept to me.
What we focus on becomes our reality.
If we focus on our weaknesses that becomes our reality. I see this a lot in the spiritual community because we are always looking at how to improve ourselves. It’s one thing to hone our craft, looking for ways to improve, but a whole different animal when we are looking to improve our weaknesses.

Focus on your strengths. When we recognize our strengths our weaknesses take a back seat and eventually fade away. You’ve heard the expression, Making mountains out of mole hills? This is what happens when we focus on our weaknesses. They become bigger and bigger and eventually take over our whole existence.

Today, again, write down your strengths. Focus on the areas that you are good and at this will change your vibration. When your vibration goes up you feel more alive, and when you feel more alive you start to change other people’s vibrations, and as their vibrations rise, so will others… and over, and over, and over again.

The Lord of Love

Good Morning… today’s card is the two of Cups.

The Lord of Love.

The cups have been coming up a lot in the last few months. Cups are about emotions. I’ve mentioned the depiction of this card before. There are three hands embracing this young woman. The third hand is herself learning to love herself.

The 2 represents duality. Embracing the duality within ones self. The duality or opposite of Love is Fear. I know that for myself there has been a lot of fear in just letting go. Like I’ve mentioned to you in previous readings, I have an easier time loving the masses than getting close to an individual. I’ve also mentioned that practicing transparency for me is the only way to get to the bottom of this. .
A good way to recognize fear is by looking at how you treat others. Do you lash out often at others? Why? Do you shut people out when you don’t agree with them? Why?

Life is a mirror. Look at it this way. When you find yourself doing any of these negative things you are really in fear mode talking about yourself. There is no other way to look at it. If you can’t be intimate with an individual you are not intimate with yourself. Look at that the next time you freak out.

On the opposite side of the coin when you are loving others, showing compassion, recognizing others for who they inherently are we are allowing ourselves to love ourselves.

I was told by someone close to me to write, write, write. Write about the good things I’ve done. Write about what I like about me. Don’t focus on your flaws, you know those intimately. Get to know the positive side of yourself intimately and your life will completely change.

The Emperor

Good Morning! Today’s card is The Emperor. This is a card about owning your power. It’s about making a stand for yourself and others when nobody else will.

I’m reminded of Greta Thunberg, a 16 yr old girl who is leading the climate change movement. She is so passionate about changing this paradigm that it was inevitable that she would become a world leader.

What are you so passionate about that nothing else matters? You see, being a leader isn’t anything more than having this kind of passion. Nobody sets out to say, “I’m going to be a World Leader”. No… their actions are what make them that, and most of them will tell you that they don’t want that kind of responsibility. That is why they do their best to raise others up to share their burden. Burden probably isn’t the right word, but my point is that they want their passion to be all inclusive.

Let’s face it… the leaders that we have in our world right now are no; Mother Teresa, Gandhi, Martin Luther King. The leaders we have right now (for the most part) do NOT lead by example. They are narcissistic, self-absorbed, self-serving individuals.

In the included picture you see my guitarist of Kill Ritual staring at me. I love this shot, but it has nothing to do with the picture but of Kill Ritual. We wrote a song called ‘Megalomaniac’ off of our ‘All Men Shall Fall’ album. Although this song was personally written about Trump this could be said of any of our power hungry leaders right now.

In summary… Be a leader that is going to inspire others to become the best expression of themselves.

The Fool

Good Morning and welcome to the New Moon in Virgo. This a SuperMoon, and as always there are no coincidences, I pulled the Fool Card which is the first card in the tarot that is saying to us… .
Infinite Possibilities!!!

I want to thank a friend of mine for helping to bring out this information today. .
If you are God and you are infinite, you know everything, nothing is new to you because you are the all knowing. How would you feel? Maybe a bit lonely? Maybe bored?

In Neale Donald Walsch’s book, Conversations With God, it is written that God put us down here so that we could experience that which God could not experience. Before we come down here we are a part of God. By separating ourselves from God we go through birth, a kind of amnesia. We forget that we are a part of God.

This is not cruelty on God’s part. This is God having the joy of experiencing everything. Death, Birth, Life, Love, Sex, Power, Poverty, Hate, Cruelty, Distrust, Fear….. the list is endless. There is no such thing as ‘Good’ or ‘Bad’ because everything is just an experience. It doesn’t matter because we all die and go back to being one.

Here is the catch, and this is me making this up… The closer we get to remembering who we actually are, we forget again. We forget again because we are here to experience, not ‘know’. We already know. .
Did you ever notice that once you thought you knew something there seems to be yet another onion layer to pull back? But instead of recognizing that the onion is eternal, we go into a beat-up mode. We start the self loathing because we’ve worked so hard to become ‘spiritual’.

Today, know that you can create anything that you desire. It’s easy. They say that there is no difference between manifesting a Dollar or a Million Dollars. The only difference is our belief in whether we can or can’t.

Go out and experience today. Re-Member something that you’ve forgotten from before your birth.
