The Queen of Wands

Today’s card is the Queen of Wands.

She is very passionate but on the dark side; opinionated.

It’s very easy to become opinionated when you are a passionate person. For myself, in the past (and sometimes now) I will step up on my soapbox and declare to the world what they should do.

Not so much anymore though… I’ve learned that we are all individuals with different ideas, different passions, and different dreams. So I do my best to keep my mouth shut and use my songwriting as my soapbox. This allows others to grow in whichever direction they please.

In the book ‘Conversations with God’ by Neale Donald Walsch, he talks about God in this way…

If you knew everything how would you experience anything? He states that the reason we are here on this planet is to experience everything… and I mean everything. Death, War, Famine, Poverty, Greed, Hate… and the list goes on. So if everything is an experience how could you classify good from bad? It’s a concept that really needs to get down to an individual level. I have chosen a belief of what works and what doesn’t work instead of right or wrong. For instance; Religion doesn’t work for me, but it might work for you.

Do you get my point?

Thinking in this fashion will keep a lot of us off of our soapboxes and become more tolerant of each other.

Today… do what you can to observe and accept that which you haven’t in the past. Try it on for size. Observe your emotions. What do you feel when you allow this to happen? Where does the intolerance stem from?

Death

Today’s card is the Death Card, and what a perfect card after the black Moon and now it being August 1st! An ending and a new beginning.
.
I’ve mentioned before that we all go through living and dying in the physical form, emotional form, and material form. We only experience the living form once in a lifetime so it seems so scary. We are all scrambling to stay young, or hold off death. If we could embrace it then it would be easier for us to go through change here in the physical. We know that when something ends here on this plane that it’s inevitable that there will be a new beginning. It’s the yin/yang, the positive/negative, light/dark. It’s impossible to NOT have the opposite. So why should physical death be different.

We have been trained in society to believe that when we die we either go to Heaven or Hell. I offer this idea… Heaven and Hell are a state of mind here on the physical plane. We make the rules here, but these rules don’t apply when we leave. Just as a baby is perfect when It enters this world, so is the same when we leave.

What is my point?

Tim McGraw said it best in his song, ‘Live like you were dying’…
.

The Flow of Prosperity

Welcome to Saturday, Oct. 28th which is a 3 in Numerology. The 3, as I’ve mentioned before is the trine. Father-Son-Holy Spirit, Heaven-Human-Earth… everything seems to be in 3s.
Being in the 3rd dimension we are somewhat limited to the laws here; Up, Down, Sideways, etc. But there are trapdoors that we don’t take advantage of through; meditation, medicinals such as Ayahuasca, or prayer which is a form of meditation and even writing down our dreams. All of these tools, or trapdoors, allow us to tap into our higher selves.

Too many of us fall into the trap thinking that we are stuck here in this sucky life until we die, that whatever is happening around us is all there is. Numbing ourselves out watching the television, getting intoxicated by the mindlessness of it all, trying to forget about our shitty day at the office, or numbing ourselves out with drugs or alcohol.

There is always a flow of prosperity around us; always. Just like an electrical current flowing through power lines, we don’t see it, but we know it is there. Like our cell phones as well… we know that we can call someone and no matter where they are we trust that their voice will magically appear on the other line.

Believing that there is a flow of prosperity around you is no different. It’s more than believing, it’s knowing.

Be part of the flow

Pilate: “So you are a King?” Jesus: “It’s you that say I am. I look for truth and find that I get damned.” Pilate: “But what is truth? Is truth a changing law? We both have truths. Are mine the same as yours?”

Welcome to Monday, Oct. 23rd which is a 7 in Numerology. The 7 is the seeker of truth. Deep personal truth. I’ve referenced the above before from Jesus Christ Superstar. As Pilate states, “We both have truths.” No truer words have been spoken. Forgive me for my redundancy, but I believe this is at the root of all our our personal and societal problems. If we allowed everyone to live their own truth… I’m talking about their deep personal truth, not the ‘truth’ mandated to them through family or society, we would live in a much more peaceful world. Our truths can change as well. The second we mandate a law for ourselves or anybody else we are welcoming those laws to be broken, as they always have been. Slavery used to be a law here, it was broken. Women weren’t allowed to vote, it was broken. Marijuana used to be illegal in many states, we are watching that change as these words are being written. There are hundreds more examples. Like the ocean, we need to learn it’s lessons that it gives us. The ocean ebbs and flows… or as we like to say, “Go with the flow.”
Where are you not allowing flow in your life? Where are you not pulling back when you need to? You are going against the natural current of life by your stubbornness. Allow yourself to accept the possibility of change for the better. For the betterment of yourself, and the betterment of mankind.
