Welcome to Monday, September 17th which is a 1 in Numerology.

Today’s card is 6 of Disks

The 6 of Disks is the Success card, or in the I Ching Hex 42 it’s increase. This past summer I think a lot of us have not been feeling so successful, but as life goes on we understand the Yin/Yang, the ebb and flow of it all. We know, like the old song says, “What goes up, must come down.” And vise/versa.

Did you know that scientists say that 90% of our universe is comprised of the unseen? I think we in society focus too much on the seen. What I mean by this is that when we are in lack we only see the physical aspects of that lack. We see the decrease in money, in friends, in our environment. But what of the 90% unseen? Those subconscious beliefs that we carry around with us that help perpetuate this physical lack?

When we focus on our subconscious beliefs, those beliefs that self-sabotage, the ones that we can’t really put our finger on yet… just knowing that they are there we can start peeling away the onion layers one by one until the underlying ‘lack’ surfaces. When it finally surfaces we have that ‘ah ha’ moment and that is when it all turns around for us.

Today’s vibration of the 1 is of new beginnings. Today you are gifted with new wisdom, you are crowned with success where you can now pioneer new thoughts about yourself and get rid of that old paradigm. If you need help peeling away the onion you know how to get in touch with me.

Let it Be

Welcome to Wednesday, August 22nd which is a 5 in Numerology.

Today’s card is Justice.

This card comes up as an 11 or an 8 depending on the deck. It also comes up as adjustment or justice. In my deck it’s the 11th card, Justice.

Today is ruled by these. If we want balance and harmony in our lives we need to adjust our thoughts. Every negative thought has an impact on us. These thoughts compound, they add up and start affecting all areas of our lives. If we watch the news all of the time we become cynical. If we focus too much on one thing, we become obsessed. Try practicing ‘non attachment’. I was reading in a book yesterday about becoming more aware and then allowing this awareness to just flow. It tells you to first notice everything around you… notice the wind, the birds, the feeling of the paper on the book… becoming hyper aware of everything. Once you do this start becoming aware of your feelings. What emotions come up when you hear birds sing, when you feel the heat of the weather around you, etc.? Now… with that awareness still in tact, just let it flow around you without becoming focused on any of it… just let it all happen around you.

This is what meditation is. It’s becoming unattached to any thought or to any feeling, just letting them flow through us. Give it a shot today and start noticing that just letting it all be allows you to free yourself.

When I work Reiki on people what I am doing is opening up their Chakras. I’m helping allow the energy to flow through their bodies. By unblocking the chakras, they don’t get stuck. They get stuck in different areas of our bodies when we allow thoughts and feelings to build up in certain areas of our bodies.

Todays energy is ruled by the 5. Five is Freedom in Action. Restless in their nature. So it might be difficult to sit still today, that is your challenge.

Come Together

Welcome to Sunday, June 3rd which is a 2 in Numerology.

Today’s card is Temperance or Art.

We all know that Art is subjective. We should treat other humans as Art because everybody is different and everybody has their own rainbow of colors within their pallet. Once we start thinking that other colors won’t fit into our pallet is the day that the artist within us dies. We start to become bitter, angry, jealous and closed off to anything else except what is between our blinders that we’ve put on.

I know I keep harping on Facebook… I should put in a disclaimer that Facebook didn’t start it. Like any human, we are born perfect. We just ‘learn’ imperfection.

I believed this division started long ago and we’ll probably never be able to pinpoint the exact time and place that it started so I can only use my own timeline to start where I believe it started in my lifetime.

I was born in the early 60’s so realistically my childhood was in the 70’s where I started to develop my own thoughts and personality. Back then we had 4 TV Channels. ABC, NBC, CBS and PBS. This was before cable, before cellphones, and before home computers. Back then if I didn’t like what was on TV I would go outside and make up my own stories, or hang out with friends, meet new people, get into group conversations. Through this type of growth I hungered for diversity. I enjoyed getting into conversations with people that had different opinions. Some of those diversities I embraced and added to my pallet in one form or another as my own. I was allowed to express myself as I saw fit.

Getting back to Facebook… We see what we want to see there, and if we don’t see what we want to see we can easily block, defriend, or unfollow instead of recognizing the individuality of those that are trying to be individuals. I believe this has stunted our growth as a species and will eventually lead to our demise if we don’t learn tolerance.

The Art card is telling us that to create balance we must be alchemists. We must mix those various elements into our pallet to create our art. Along with today’s vibration of the 2 it is saying that we can have a desperate need for security in what we believe or we can have the spiritual insight to accept what others believe. It is our choice.

Temperance

Welcome to Friday, April 27th which is a 6 in Numerology.

Today’s card is Temperance. Hooray! You’ve done the work. You know that balance is the key to true happiness. Your spiritual growth is just that… growth. It’s never-ending. Just when you thought that you knew it all, BAM! Some new enlightenment comes into your view.

Welcome this new thought, or person with open arms. Everything that comes into our lives comes for a reason. Libra is about balance and they will do whatever it takes to create balance and avoid conflict. In the past, you’ve just avoided conflict out of fear, but now you don’t avoid it at all… you find the balance within it. This is much different from your old fear-based self. So, again, Congratulations!

Today’s 6 energy of order and service is telling us to find the balance outside of our Monkey Mind. We have a tendency to get caught up in the details and overwhelming ourselves. Once you start focusing on service it will stop that Monkey Mind from driving you crazy.

Calm Urgency

Welcome to Tuesday, April 24th which is a 3 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 8 of Disks. Prudence. If you’ve been following me along since the end of this last retrograde and the beginning of the new Chiron transit you’ve noticed that there is a calm about everything, but yet an urgency as well.

That seems a little odd? How can you have both?

Well… this new urgency to be who you really are isn’t frantic. It’s more of a focused, calculated and carefully planned urgency. You just ‘know’ what you’ve got to do now [at all costs]. Chiron in this Aries transit is knowing where your deepest wound is and knowing that if it isn’t healed you will have to wait until the next go round.

Combined with today’s 3 energy of completion, creativity, great joy and communication, you are focused. This ‘calm urgency’ has taken over. You know the healing work needs to be done for your soul progress and you are willing to do it without complaining or cutting corners.

Your nose is to the grindstone.

In the past, you have multi-tasked and thought that you were really good at it only to find out that you were half-assing it. I remember my days in design. I would sit behind my computer working on a project and the whole day would fly by because I was so hyper-focused on what I was doing. This is that kind of energy.

Put the blinders on and GO!

As within, So without.

Welcome to Tuesday, December 26th which is a 3 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 8 of Disks, Prudence, along with the 3 energy they are asking us to come out to play. It is the end of a cycle and you are anew. There is some deep wisdom that has been brewing beneath the surface and today is the day to bring it out and shine.

There is an expression that I picked up while reading the Kybalion. One of the seven Hermetic Principles is the Principle of Correspondence.

As above, so below; As below, so above.

The same goes with inner and outer, up and down, etc. What you think inside mirrors what is outside. If you think the world is shit… then it is. Is this a Pollyanna Hippy Dippy fairytale kind of talk? No. It’s science. You can experiment with it and see the results yourself.

All of your dreams and desires can and will come true if you focus first on the inside. Feel what it feels like. I do this kind of visualization before I go on stage. I run the whole show through my head. I see the crowd, the band, everything. I hear me singing like a bird. When I don’t do this I have a less than stellar performance, one of them being fairly recently. If you were there, you knew. So… take it from me. It works.

But, like the song states today… you’ve got to come out and play. Test the waters. You can’t hide inside your head. There needs to be a balance of both.

A lot of people never get out of their head because past results have been horrible. You need to change your mindset. If you wish for something know that it comes when you need it to come, not when you want it to come. Your ego ‘wants’ it to come but your soul knows when the right time is. A good way to think of this earth plane is to think of the manifestation process as having to come through a wall of molasses. It’s almost as if the Universe is asking you, “Are you sure you want this or is this just what you want right now?”

So… keep focusing on what you want repeatedly and you will eventually see your results. Trust the Process.

Here Comes The Sun

Welcome to Tuesday, December 19th which is a 5 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Sun and today’s number 5 vibration is of constant change. The 5 senses. And I have to tell you that this morning all 6 of my senses were alive. Yes, 6. Touch, Taste, Smell, Hearing, Seeing and the 6th sense from my 3rd eye sensing that all was awake and alive within myself as well as the trees, the grass, the animals… an ethereal gratitude thanking the Sun because without it we would be plunged into eternal darkness. The morning Sun has always been my favorite, and here in Denver, the chill combined with the heat of the Sun seems to awaken all of these senses in me.

The metaphysical meaning of the Sun is that of being awake. Seeing what was once unseen. Seeing clearer and seeing within things. The Sun within us shines brightly when we purge ourselves of the things that don’t matter. The things that we’ve somehow hung onto because we thought we had to. Our inner Sun when shining outward allows us to be naked to the world. Unafraid of being exposed because there really is nothing to hide.

Today, be you. Expose yourself to the world. Let your inner light shine brightly. If it blinds some, that is ok. Some don’t want to see their own light out of fear but by shining yours maybe, just maybe they will allow themselves the pleasure.
