Please welcome our new Bass Player

Ladies and Gents, Kill Ritual fans near and far…

We would like to introduce you to Alexandre Santos who will be playing Bass for Kill Ritual,
both touring and helping write their next album, The Opaque and the Divine.

We will be throwing him right in the fire for his first show with us in Las Vegas for
Kiss Night at Count’s Vamp’d, October 20th.

Alex is best known for his work and composition with the Portuguese melodic rock/metal band
Scar For Life (2008–present) and for his collaboration with other established heavy rock musicians
in the bands D.N.A. (2013) and Stagma (2018–present). If you recall, David (KR Vox)
and Alex collaborated with Kane Roberts (Alice Cooper), Neil Fraser (Ten, Rage of Angels, Stagma),
Mikael Carlsson (Lover Under Cover), as well as João Colaço (Rage of Angels, Scar For Life) creating D.N.A..

Speaking with David he has mentioned how excited he is to work with Alex again.

“Alex and I are like brothers. We argue, we laugh, and we create magic together.
I’ve been long looking forward to working with him again.
He will be an incredible asset to this band.
He is also one of the best songwriters I know.” – David Reed Watson

Alex also established his own recording and production facility, PressPlay Music, in 2008
for which he has mixed and produced several albums.

Make sure you check out Alex’s website if you would like to delve further into who this incredible talent is.

KR Update (June 12, 2018)

Hey gang,
We’ve got a lot coming up here for the fall. We can’t let the cat out of the bag as of yet but we want to include you all so, if we could get you guys and gals to do a few things for us…

1. Private Message David pictures of one or more of us from a previous tour. Let us know your name and where and when you saw us.

2. PM David pictures of you with your Kill Ritual TShirt and/or CD and if you got them via a tour let us know the same info… where and when you saw us and your name.

3. We will be looking for more admins to manage our social media preferably those that know WordPress. Gin is great with the Facebook and Instagram so I want to give her a big shout out but we’re spreading her pretty thin so we want to get a few people to help her out.

4. We will be setting up our Kill Ritual Merch account this week. If you don’t have your 2018 North American Tour TShirts get them soon.

Peace!
David Reed Watson, Steven D. Rice, Seamus Gleason, Chris Lotesto & Jim Pegram

My time in Hawaii

Good Morning World!
I am back from Hawaii. Two weeks of walking the dog, hiking mountains, seeing an active volcano, walking the beach, swimming and eating a half ton of Poké.

A lot of my friends have mentioned to me that they could never live in Hawaii. They would get bored too easily. I can honestly say, especially after reading this article (link below) on being an introvert, that it would be a welcoming change for me.

I can already tell what you are thinking. You’re a front man in a rock band… how can you be an introvert? Well, being an introvert doesn’t mean that I am shy of people, nor does it mean that I don’t like people. Introverts need alone time and solitude to recharge. That is what makes us feel alive. Extroverts, on the other hand, need people around them to recharge. It doesn’t make either of us ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ (Read my blog post on what I think about right and wrong) So… I could easily live out the rest of my days in Hawaii.

While I was in Hawaii I was fortunate enough to have a time difference of 10 hours between Hawaii and Sweden. I would wake up in the morning and have tracks off of the new album in my email. Andy LaRocque and Steven Rice were working diligently on perfecting the sound for our next album, ‘All Men Shall Fall’ while I slumbered away in the perfect Oahu nights. I’d wake, have coffee, and listen to them while working on the CD sleeves and inserts. Getting all of the lyrics, credits, etc. in order. I can’t wait for you all to hear this album. We’ve already shuttled it out to labels, reviewers and select close friends to give you the best of it all. If you would like to write a review of this new album and you have blog that you regularly do reviews, hit me up.

All Men Shall Fall has been a labor of love for months now, and now that we are done we can sit back and enjoy what we’ve brought to the table. Not only have we completed this album, but we are also touring with Raven and Hirax in Europe starting in June. Raven were also invited onto the Monsters of Rock Cruise for 2018. Who knows… maybe you’ll see us on there too. 🙂

Peace and Aloha!
David
