Today’s card is the Devil.
Don’t look at the Devil card as something evil. Look at it as opposite of light. The Devil card is the temptor, it is the side of us that doesn’t believe that we have anything worth giving. So when a card like this pops up today it is reminding you that without darkness you can’t have light and vise-versa.
Hermes Trismegistus wrote in the Kybalion about the seven Hermetic Principles. I will leave you with Google to check that out yourself but in chapter X he talks about Polarity and he states…
“Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposties; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled.”
So, in essence, to deny the darkness, or the parts you don’t like about yourself only bring them to light and make them more difficult to deal with. “As Above, So Below”
