I want to break free!

Welcome to Thursday, June 7th which is a 6 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Princess of Wands.

I release my fears and allow myself to be filled with confidence and self trust.

We all have fears, habits, routines that we look at as debilitating in our lives. Sometimes we don’t know where they stem from and sometimes we know exactly where they come from.

Today is a good day to pinpoint the issue that has been holding you back for years and start peeling back the layers of the onion. It means sitting with yourself alone, quietly without any distractions. Grab a paper and pencil and start writing down what you are feeling as you get closer to it. You’ll know you are getting closer when you start getting uncomfortable. This might be something that you hid away in your subconscious.

Recognize that whatever it is you did at that time for a reason. It served you then. Acknowledge it and forgive yourself. Whatever it was; drugs, sex, alcohol, etc. Know that you did it to block something painful at the time.

Today’s energy of the 6 is helping you. This energy is telling you that you will gain information from invisible forces, that your dreams and meditation can guide you to pinpoint whatever it is that is hold you back.

Be ok with being free of this because you are here for a reason. Like George Bailey in ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’. We are all entwined on this earth and we all have an effect on each other.

Welcome to Wednesday, June 6th which is a 5 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Hierophant.

The Hierophant is that spiritual teacher that we are all aspiring to be deep down inside. The one that laughs like the Buddha. He see’s all and has experienced all.

Wisdom.

Today is a great day to listen to everything around you, listen to what you hear. I believe that there are no coincidences. If you treat today this same way you can learn something. Even if it’s just your dog bugging you to play. What are you feeling? Distracted? Behind the clock? Analyze these feelings and go within to understand the deeper meaning. Maybe a car cuts you off this morning. Do you flip them off or do you smile, or do you let it go unnoticed? Every action we take today has meaning.

If we start living our lives as if everything is a lesson for us and that there is something that we can learn, this can change our lives. We become more aware, more compassionate, more personal. We are truly paying attention.

Today’s 5 energy is telling us to make positive life choices and decisions and to learn life lessons through experience.

Welcome to Tuesday, June 5th which is a 22 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Ace of Swords.

Have you been struggling for a long time? For what seems like your whole life? Do you think that you see clearly about everything and everyone except for yourself?

Today is a day where the fog breaks!

Who told you that using your head was a bad thing? Somewhere, somehow some of us have adopted the thought that logical thinking was very mechanical, insensitive and well… Spock-like. We seem to use our heads and our hearts to solve problems for others, why not for ourselves?

It’s a fine line because I will always tell you to trust your gut instinct first and foremost. AFTER you receive the information from your gut, weigh out the answer you get logically, intuitively and emotionally.

I guess what I’m trying to say here is this; have you always used just logic? If so, start following your heart as well. And if you’ve always just used your heart try using your head too. I guarantee you that you’ll come up with a different perspective and then ask your gut what it feels.

Today’s energy of the 22, the Master Builder, is saying to bee elusive, practical and efficient. It will serve you today to start looking at things differently.

Let it Grow

Welcome to Monday, June 4th which is a 3 in Numerology.

Today’s card is 10 of Disks. Wealth!

Wealth can come in many forms. It can be money, it can be enlightenment, it can be love, friendship, etc. Wealth is abundance of something.

When we accumulate wealth of one form or another and don’t share it that is hoarding. We are seeing it in big business in the money aspect of wealth. When we hoard we get fat and lazy and accumulate more. What we are doing its creating imbalance and eventually and inevitably we will lose it all, and we usually lose it all in the most horrible ways.

When we accumulate wealth, again, in one form or another, and then share it we are creating a never ending flow, a Yin/Yang of energy.

Today’s energy of the 3 is about growth and expansion, creating a rhythm. It’s saying to us that whatever we have bottled up inside we need to release, we need to share. Look at the positive aspects of what you are holding onto. Recognize it and release it. If it is something that serves you it will come back.

What stops us from sharing our wealth?

F.E.A.R. (False Evidence Appearing Real). It’s the fear that we won’t get it back and when you hold that space you probably won’t get it back. It’s a vicious cycle because then you can go into victim mode and say to people, “See… I shared what I have and people just took advantage of me and now I have nothing.” It’s a very easy trap to fall into. You need to change that mindset.

Let it go and let it flow.

Come Together

Welcome to Sunday, June 3rd which is a 2 in Numerology.

Today’s card is Temperance or Art.

We all know that Art is subjective. We should treat other humans as Art because everybody is different and everybody has their own rainbow of colors within their pallet. Once we start thinking that other colors won’t fit into our pallet is the day that the artist within us dies. We start to become bitter, angry, jealous and closed off to anything else except what is between our blinders that we’ve put on.

I know I keep harping on Facebook… I should put in a disclaimer that Facebook didn’t start it. Like any human, we are born perfect. We just ‘learn’ imperfection.

I believed this division started long ago and we’ll probably never be able to pinpoint the exact time and place that it started so I can only use my own timeline to start where I believe it started in my lifetime.

I was born in the early 60’s so realistically my childhood was in the 70’s where I started to develop my own thoughts and personality. Back then we had 4 TV Channels. ABC, NBC, CBS and PBS. This was before cable, before cellphones, and before home computers. Back then if I didn’t like what was on TV I would go outside and make up my own stories, or hang out with friends, meet new people, get into group conversations. Through this type of growth I hungered for diversity. I enjoyed getting into conversations with people that had different opinions. Some of those diversities I embraced and added to my pallet in one form or another as my own. I was allowed to express myself as I saw fit.

Getting back to Facebook… We see what we want to see there, and if we don’t see what we want to see we can easily block, defriend, or unfollow instead of recognizing the individuality of those that are trying to be individuals. I believe this has stunted our growth as a species and will eventually lead to our demise if we don’t learn tolerance.

The Art card is telling us that to create balance we must be alchemists. We must mix those various elements into our pallet to create our art. Along with today’s vibration of the 2 it is saying that we can have a desperate need for security in what we believe or we can have the spiritual insight to accept what others believe. It is our choice.

Welcome to Saturday, June 2nd which is a 1 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the High Priestess.

Yesterday I took a walk in a Labyrinth. They say that when you walk into a Labyrinth you clear your mind. It’s a walking meditation and I highly recommend it for anybody that has a hard time meditating. It allows you to focus on the path alone and eventually your mind will clear and you’ll feel a sense of peace. They say to walk barefoot and become one with the earth. I did this, even though it’s 100 degrees here in Las Vegas it didn’t seem to bother me. Possibly because I wasn’t focused on anything but the path and my breath.

The High Priestess is reminding us of our duality. We are both Feminine and Masculine and if we don’t tap into both aspects we are closing off a part of us that helps balance us as human ‘be’ings.

Do you trust your intuition?

Is there a part of yourself that you are always second guessing? I should have done this, or I should have done that, listening too much to other people? When was the last time that you acted on impulse? Did it serve you? How many times have you walked aimlessly just following your footsteps only to find yourself in the place you needed to be at that moment?

I try to do this often to keep everything in perspective. Trusting your intuition is difficult in today’s day and age. We have GPS’s, computers, phones. What if you could just turn those off for a day, or even an hour and just follow your intuition? Maybe you’ll learn something about yourself, or you might meet someone interesting. That’s when the ‘coincidences’ happen. Although, if you believe there are no coincidences then these moments become your intuition, your inner guidance bringing you a gift.

Go get lost today and see what you might find.

With today’s energy of the 1 we are guided by our intuitive sense. Call it ‘God’s Plan’ if you will. I don’t mean that in any Dogmatic sense. I’m talking about the God within you.

Go Within

Welcome to Friday, June 1st which is a 9 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 6 of Swords.

Take a look at this image. Notice that the flower blooms once exiting the Labyrinth? There are actually two of them coming together. I take this as the conscious and the subconscious traversing through life and coming together. Science and Spirituality entering into enlightenment.

So what does this mean for us?

So much of our lives we are seeking something outside of ourselves. We will follow guru’s, religions, rock stars, movie stars, parents… everyone but ourselves because we somehow don’t believe that we have the answers inside of ourselves.

We’ve been conditioned to think this in our society. But what if we could take a deep breath and know that the answers were inside of ourselves? You wouldn’t be reading this.

Today I am going to take a walk in a Labyrinth. Why? Because yesterday labyrinths popped up all around me an then pulling this card this morning and seeing the labyrinth once again was an affirmation to myself that I must do this. I am trusting my instincts. What will I learn? I don’t know yet. Isn’t that seeking something outside of myself? Possibly. Or it’s possible that walking in a labyrinth might open up another chapter in my life.

So, what I’m saying here is; don’t ever stop seeking for your own truth. Just stop seeking it from others. I love that you come to learn from me and I hope that I am the catalyst to your own enlightenment.
