Welcome to Monday, May 21st which is a 1 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Hermit.

This is a perfect card for today because here in Las Vegas it’s rainy. I remember the rain and thunderstorms of New England where I grew up. We had a big bay window in our dining room where I would sit and watch the lightning over the mountains. It was peaceful to me. It was nature telling me that this was a time to sit alone and just watch, reflect and go within. It was always easy for me as a child to go within.

Today is one of those days… you’ve done a lot of work in the last couple of months. You’ve been hustling, setting yourself up for the future, partying, etc. It might be difficult for some to sit alone, and if that is the case then go get a massage or go to a spa. Somewhere that you can sit silent and reflect, like the child watching the thunderstorm only now it’s about your inner child.

Today’s energy of the 1 is of new beginnings, independence and originality so those might be things you want to ponder while sitting alone today.

Don’t be afraid to sit alone. You are more powerful and wonderful than you give yourself credit for. Breathe! Peace!

Welcome to Sunday, May 20th which is a 9 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 4 of Cups.

Yesterday I told you that we should embrace change and I believe you did. Remember though to not take any of this for granted. Today could be one of those days where you might.

A lot of times when we get comfortable and set in our routines of day to day life we take people and things for granted… continue on with what we talked about yesterday, but today I want you to feel even more grateful for these gifts and blessings in your life. Especially the people that come into your life. Embrace them! Thank them!

Today is a LOVE WITHOUT RISK kind of day. I said not to be reckless yesterday but being a little risky and being reckless are two different animals. Yes, I said animals.

Be the owl. Observe and use your wisdom. Reckless would be more like those black squirrels that we would see it Colorado running across the roads that only seemed to run across when we were driving by.

With the energy of today’s 9; Universal Love, Balance, and Perfection you have the opportunity to really open some doors and let in people that have usually found you reserved and, well… stuck up.

Crossroads

Welcome to Saturday, May 19th which is an 8 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 2 of Wands.

Yesterday we talked about paying attention to our feelings and accepting them as they come instead of ignoring them. Today we’re at the Crossroads. Change is inevitable but let’s not make it a reckless change. Let’s focus on how we’re going to go about it. This doesn’t mean to wait until all of the pieces of the puzzle are there, this just means not to go so far off the deep end where the devil has you at the crossroads. We all know the story.

We ‘know’ now that we have all of the pieces of this puzzle right in our hands but what we don’t know is how these pieces will fall together. It’s ok to not know. I know that drives most of us insane but look at it this way… it’s like receiving a present for your birthday from an unexpected old friend from your past. That friend that you opened the door for without any expectation. I guess you could say it’s like Karma. What you reap is what you sow.

With today’s energy of the 8 today; Creativity, Freedom and Change are right there in your back pocket so I wouldn’t stress about it all. Like I said above, we have a tendency to want to control our outcome.

Accept the gifts as they come to you and embrace the surprise!

Living Under Conscious Knowledge

Welcome to Friday, May 18th which is a 7 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Empress.

Today’s card is about pure feeling. Passion for life and all around it. I imagine her deeply sobbing during harvest because she knows everything is going into the ground for the winter and yet rejoicing at the same time for the abundance of the harvest.

When we are abundant do we recognize and acknowledge it or do we let it pass by and take it for granted?

Too many people I know pass off feelings as ‘silly emotions’ when I believe that we should feel everything fully, appreciate and respect what they are,  then let them go into the wind.

Becoming numb does not allow you to appreciate what you have. So right now if you are feeling abundant allow yourself to rejoice.

There is a fine line between boasting and rejoicing.

Boasting is throwing your good fortune in someone’s face while rejoicing is allowing those around you to join you in your good fortune and allowing them to feel it as well. It also opens the door for them to get a taste of what their own abundance would look like when it comes to them.

With the energy of today’s 7 the Universe is telling us to recognize the steady efforts that have brought us to this place. There is no such thing as ‘luck’. The acronym for luck is Living Under Conscious Knowledge. That means recognizing and allowing the flow of good fortune to follow you and lift you up to the next level.

Don’t Worry, Be Happy!

Welcome to Thursday, May 17th which is a 33 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 5 of Disks.

I am absolutely horrible at writing things down. I forget things all the time and instead of writing them down I make mental note (which never works) and then I worry that I’m never going to remember things. Are you like this? Or are you the planner that looks at their written down ‘chores’ and freaks out because there is too much on your plate?

Either way, we worry. I believe it’s built into our DNA for some weird reason. I don’t know why. All I know is that every time I have written things down I go into freak out mode that there is too much on my plate like I mentioned above. It’s a vicious cycle.

So how do we stop this?

I’ve recently started a game with myself. I write my list and I check off each item as I get around to them. I don’t give myself a time frame and I tell myself that this is just a list to keep the clutter out of my head. It’s not a ‘have to’ list. I’ve found that this helps.

Today’s card, as you can tell, is about worry but today’s Master Number 33 (Master Teacher) is reassuring us and teaching us to love ourselves and teach others how to love themselves.

So… the next time you go into beat-up mode remind yourself that tools like ‘lists’ are there to help you. Yes, they might sting a little when you look at them but treat them with love and respect you might just find yourself worrying less.

Live Like You Were Dying

Welcome to Wednesday, May 16th which is a 5 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 4 of Wands. Completion.

We are now in uncharted territory, at least for most of us. Uranus has moved into Taurus for the first time in 84 years. So that means 1934! Uranus changes, innovates, invents, breaks and awakens. So what does that mean for us with today’s card and 5 energy?

It means that we are ready for a brand new chapter. We’ve completed old lessons that we needed to learn and we’re finally moving on. The 5 energy is the explorer so hold on to your hats!

What did you do yesterday to change up your routine? Did you do anything or did you stay in your comfort zone? I told you yesterday would be a bit uncomfortable… but it has set you up for this new improved you! You are ready to take on the world and you are not afraid to grasp the reins and finally take control of your life.

Now when I say, take control, I don’t mean to control everything around you. You need to still accept what is flowing around you but don’t let it control you. Don’t let life pass you by anymore. Treat the rest of your time on this planet as if you were going to die tomorrow.

How Deep is Your Love?

Welcome to Tuesday, May 15th which is a 4 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Ace of Cups.

Take a look at today’s card. See how she stands naked, her arms outstretched, eyes closed, receiving the warmth of the sun. The chalice ready to be filled. That is today.

This card combined with today’s 4 energy can be a bit chaotic because today’s 4 is quite happy to be in a rut. There’s almost a comfort in misery, and we all know that misery loves company. But today I want you to rebel against that false comfort and open yourselves up to receive. I want you to be open to giving. I want you to be open to everything you are normally against.

As you ascend as a spiritual ‘be’ing you start to understand the Yin/Yang of how things work. There is no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ but what ‘works’ and what ‘doesn’t work’. They are both the same just in different degree’s on the same spectrum.
