True Love

Welcome to Tuesday, June 19th which is a 9 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Lovers.

First off… I would like to congratulate two of my friends for bringing their loving bond together in marriage. Not only am I proud of them, I am also proud of my partner Taylor, for being the Officiant of their union. Congratulations Jenny and Jason!

Love is everywhere today, even with the vibration of the 9 which is telling us to balance our personal love with universal love. This is the deepest kind of love.

The lovers card is telling us that true love, either that of self or with another is abandoning all fear. In relationships we tend not to tell our partners everything because we are afraid of losing them. Well, if you look in the mirror, ask yourself what you are cheating yourself of? How much has feared ruled you and stopped you from REALLY achieving what you want? Have you lived your life in fear and worry?

Recently a friend of mine said that I say the word ‘worry’ a lot. I’m not the type to worry that much, so I thought. On further examination I now know that it came from a parent figure. Every time speaking to them, ending the conversation they would say, “I worry about you.”. I have realized that just having that vibration in my life for all of these years has planted that seed and I have somehow, deep inside, become like them! Ack!

If you find yourself repeating patterns in relationships, or with yourself, it might be a good time to peel back the onion layers and find the root of where it all came from. Once you have an idea of where it came from then, and only then, can you start repairing the issue.

Remember, I said it could just be with yourself and not your relationship. But isn’t relationship with self the root of it all? Time to look in the mirror and tell yourself that you love you. When is the last time you did that, if ever? I’m not talking in the narcissistic way… I mean to truly love yourself so that you may love another. Abandon all fear and worry. Truly love. Universally.

Welcome to Monday, June 18th which is an 8 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 8 of Disks.

Yesterday I fell into my own trap by having a fight with one of my siblings. Why was I so invested on them getting my point?

When we see others and their problems we want to help. But where is the line drawn from helping to getting irritated with their actions? Where is it in us that we need to work on? That was my pondering question after this incident.

Today’s card is the Lord of Prudence. It seems that I pull this card a lot. Is it telling me that I really need to work on my own inner development more than focusing outside of myself? Most definitely. So what is the lesson here for all of us? I think it’s this… When we get irritated with someone else that is a for sure sign to look inside of ourselves to see why it irritates us so much. What part of ourselves did those buttons push? The Universe is giving us an opportunity to recognize this and promising us that if we can get to the bottom of our own issues that expansion will come.

Allow yourself to be alert for all of the good coming into your life. Today’s energy of the 8 is telling us that we need to always re-evaluate ourselves and our actions.

Abundance!

Welcome to Sunday, June 17th which is a 7 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 3 of Cups.

First off… Happy Father’s Day to those blessed with children.

Today is a day of abundance. It is a good day to get outside and enjoy your surroundings. Go dance on top of a mountain! Move your body, get the energy flowing and feel the Prana and let it envelope you.

Last night I dreamed I was back home in Massachusetts and there behind the house was a gathering of family and friends. Friends I hadn’t seen in years and some I had just seen the day before. Not only friends, but people in my life that I don’t take too kindly to. Why were they all gathered together? I believe that everybody that we have contact with in our lives leaves an impact which changes our paradigm, for good or bad, they shape us to who and what we are, what we believe, what we perceive and what we admire in our lives.

That is abundance. It is the recognition that everyone is a blessing. Every single one of them molds and shapes you so it’s best to be grateful for them then to curse those that have hurt you.

If you feel as if you’ve been hurt by somebody remind yourself that they didn’t hurt you. You decided that they hurt you. That is the difference.

Here is an example; If someone you don’t know comes up to you on the street and says to you, “You’re an Asshole and I hate you!” you would probably look at them as if they were crazy but when someone you know, or someone you love says that to you it kills you inside. Can they see inside of you what the crazy person on the street cannot? No. It’s just our perception.

Change your perception and abundance is yours.

Today’s vibration is of the 7. Lucky 7. It’s telling us that we are living in a dream, no different than my dream last night. We mold and shape who we are every day, or we are molded and shaped by those around us if we choose to be the victim.

Welcome to Saturday, June 16th which is a 33 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 4 of Wands. Completion.

You’ve come full circle on a project or on a lifestyle and you are ready to move on. This comes with ease now. In the past you’ve known that you’ve wanted change but it was always a struggle because inevitably you’d fall right back into the old patterns or mundane routines.

But now you’re bored. You’ve either never been in this kind of transition or it’s been so many years that you’ve forgotten what this is like, but you aren’t going to settle for living an ordinary life. Be patient because the next transit is going to hit you in the face… it will be life changing.

Who Am I?

Welcome to Friday, June 15th which is a 5 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 6 of Wands. Victory.

Count your blessings.

We seem to strive for higher and higher peaks only to get to the next step and finding that there is more to do and even higher to go. We barely ever sit back to see where we have been and where we are now. Like it’s not good enough.

It’s ok to sit back, pat yourself on your back for your achievements. Like in dieting (which I don’t agree with. The first three letters spelling D-I-E), you have a cheat day. Consider today your cheat day. Let yourself bask in your own aura and recognize what you’ve accomplished. Have a party! Celebrate it! It’s ok to indulge yourself from time to time, even if you do it alone.

When is the last time you did this? Have you EVER done it? Why not? What goes through your head when I ask you to celebrate yourself? You don’t have to answer. I know because I’m human just like you. I guess the big question we all have is, “Who am I?”

Why don’t we feel like we are good enough?

Welcome to Thursday, June 14th  which is a 4 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 10 of Disks. Wealth.

Once sufficient wealth, both inner spiritual and outer material, has been attained then the excess needs to be distributed otherwise it becomes stagnant and eventually corrupts and dissipates.

Notice that I said ‘sufficient wealth’. What does that mean? Does it mean to hoard everything that we can and those with the most toys wins? I think not. Sufficient wealth is enough to pay your bills, enough to go out and enough to have others over without feeling depleted. And as far as spiritually it means to make sure you’re not giving your power away to others when you don’t have enough for yourself.

I used to have the belief that if I gave everything away it would come back to me 10 fold. What I learned from this was that I realized I was giving in order to receive. I wasn’t giving for the sake of giving… it was a false hope that If I gave money, gave of my time, gave of my services, that I would be rewarded. Guess what? I wasn’t. I felt depleted.

You see… this is how it works… when you have all that you need you give freely to others without any other expectation than to see them prosper as you have, but when you give from an empty well you’re not doing anybody any good. You become the martyr, you become bitter and angry at those around you that are prosperous.

What can you do about this? Well, for starters… take care of yourself first and then once you are at the level to give, let it flow. Until then, focus on yourself. This does not mean to be greedy, or self-centered, it just means that in order for you to give you first must have something to give.

We’re Stars

Welcome to Wednesday, June 13th  which is a 3 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 9 of Wands. Strength.

I chuckled when I got this card this morning because before I pulled it I was reading an email I got from the coordination team for the Ayahuasca journey I am taking at the end of the month. The email explains what we need to do 10 days prior to the journey. In a nutshell, it’s pretty much a raw diet. No alcohol, no pot, no sex, oh my! I was thinking, how am I going to do this? Ha! I’m joking of course… I can give up alcohol and pot. Doh!

What it takes is inner strength.

I have to break out the old Marine mantra that I used to sing while running,

“D-I-S-C-I-P-L-I-N-E”.

When confronted with any obstacle I usually say to myself, “I made it through Parris Island, I can make it through anything.”

Today is a good day for you to tap into that discipline as well. Tune into something that you accomplished and where proud of. How did you feel after accomplishing it? That is where you need to go today. It will take trusting yourself that you can do what you have done before. If you’re having a hard time, call a friend. Get someone to mentor you for a little while until you can overcome this obstacle and keep reminding yourself how you will feel in the end. You’ll be ready to take on the world!

Today’s 3 energy is of celebration, abundance and growth! A perfect day to start this cycle. Not only that but today is a Super Moon in Gemini. The stars are aligning for you.
